If the scope changes — say a cable is also frayed once the spring is off — you get a revised quote and a yes/no before anything more is done.

What this looks like: Technician arrives, inspects the door, tells you exactly what's wrong, quotes the all-in price including parts and labor, and waits for your OK. If you decline, you pay only the agreed service-call fee (if any) — not a penny more.

What to do if this doesn't happen: Do not sign anything and email us at info@trustygaragedoor.com before the job is complete. We will address it with the company immediately.

No company enters our network without verified active insurance and any license the jurisdiction requires. We check both directly — not from a document the company sends us, but from the issuing body and carrier.

What this means for you: The company sending a technician to your property carries general liability insurance. If something goes wrong — property damage, an injury on your driveway — their insurance responds, not you. And they hold any license the state or city requires for garage door work.

What to do if this isn't true: If a technician cannot provide proof of insurance on request, or if you discover the company was unlicensed, email us immediately. Verified failures result in immediate removal from our network.

Same-Day Service Available, 24/7

Broken springs and stuck-open garage doors don't wait for business hours. Every company in our network maintains on-call technicians for nights, weekends, and holidays.

What "same-day" means exactly: In most of our metros, calls placed before 3 PM result in a same-day appointment. Calls after that are typically scheduled for early the next morning, unless it's an emergency (stuck open, car trapped) — in which case an on-call technician is dispatched regardless of time.

After-hours fee transparency: On-call visits outside standard business hours carry a $50–$150 premium over daytime rates. The dispatcher tells you this fee on the phone before anyone is dispatched — it's never a surprise on the invoice.

No Pressure, No Obligation

You never pay TrustyGarageDoor anything. Calling us to get connected with a local pro is completely free, and declining a quote after a technician visits costs you nothing beyond any explicitly disclosed service-call fee.

Our no-pressure policy: If a technician recommends a repair you're not sure about — a new opener when you called about a cable, an immediate spring replacement when you just wanted a maintenance check — you are 100% entitled to get a second opinion. No company in our network is permitted to use high-pressure tactics or create urgency that isn't real.

Pressure tactics = removal: Any verified report of a technician refusing to leave, threatening consequences of non-repair, or using "now or never" pricing triggers an investigation and potential removal from the network.
